Overview of the Role
We are looking for an Odoo Developer who will design, customize, and implement Odoo solutions aligned with business requirements. This role involves hands-on backend development, module customization, system integrations, and ongoing support across Odoo versions (v12 and above).
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and implement Odoo modules based on business needs.
- Develop and maintain custom Odoo applications (Odoo v12 and above).
- Customize existing Odoo modules such as Single Window, Attendance, Utility Billing, and others.
- Perform backend development using Python and PostgreSQL.
- Develop and customize XML and QWeb views, reports, and workflows.
- Integrate Odoo with third-party APIs and external systems.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve functional and technical issues.
- Optimize application performance and database queries.
- Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, and technical documentation.
- Support deployments, system upgrades, and Odoo version migrations.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, QA teams, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
Desired Skills / Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-4 Years of experience in Odoo development (v12 and above preferred).
- Solid understanding of Python, PostgreSQL, and Odoo framework architecture.
- Experience with XML, QWeb, and Odoo reporting.
- Hands-on experience with module customization and integrations.
- Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Odoo Certification is preferred.
